Pat-Pat

Pat-Pat is an endearing name for one named Patrick. Specifically, Pat-Pat is a boy scout in a manner of speaking. He is fiercely loyal, and will protect his own at all costs. Pat-Pats are easily socially tired, but make up for it with their intense charisma and comedic timing when they are with you. Pat-Pat is the one you pick for your team in a zombie apocalypse, and Pat-Pat will do his best not to let you down. Sometimes Pat-Pat will cancel last minute, but that is ok, because if you are lucky enough to be friends with a Pat-Pat, then you know that you are loved and everything will be ok.

Oh yeah, Pat-Pat and Helen met at scout camp. Pat-Pat's such a boy scout is'nt he?

You can indeed say dat to da staff at da local True Value Hardware store, but good luck on getting any discounts or other "preferential perks" as a result.

Perhaps da famous radio-ad phrase, "...and tell 'em Pat Summerall sent you" might have been more recognizable "way back when" during da time when everyone's favorite deep-and-rich-tone-voiced Irish sportscaster was making those ads, but in more-modern times, da Cotter & Co. stores' mostly-from-da-newer-generation employees will likely just give you puzzled looks if you jokingly spout said remark when you walk in da door. :P
