Texas

Texas is the state that I was born and raised in. In fact I still live here today! I must say that there are alot of negative stereotypes about us Texans floating around...heck...we have the most negative stereotypes of any U.S. state. I'm not here to be an asshole and yell at y'all(yes I intended to right that) I think everyone should think what they want to think or believe. But please, don't be mean and negative about us if you haven't even met a Texan.

I swear none of us have sex with family(eww), we don't wear cowboy apparel everywhere(hella uncomfortable), we don't all live on ranchs(although they are cool), and we are not all racist and homophobic(i'm gay myself so I would know).Honest to goodness, yes, there are some bad people out there that came from Texas but the same thing happens with every other state so please don't go around making stereotypes about a whole group of people just because of the mistakes of few.

Furthermore, it would be very difficult to be racist here in Texas. Mainly because less than half of the population is full white(weather it be european or somewhere else) meaning that you would get your ass beat if you said something nasty about a different race. I promise that Texas is not as bad as stereotypes make it out to be. I honestly think its a great state and(if you get the weather timing right) it can be a great place to visit.
