Useless crap used to make teachers pets feel better and to make it seem like teachers aren't always dishing out detentions like oprah.

Mainly used in british schools.
Teacher: " here u go jimmy, have a house point for ur good behaviour"

Student: "miss can i go to the toile...."

Teacher: " YoU ShOuTeD OuT!!! DeTeNtIOn!!!"

Describing how easily a person laughs at things. Comparable to the boiling point (where the water starts to boil when it becomes too hot). Laughing point is the point where you start laughing at something when you find something funny.

Directly translated from the Chinese word ‘笑点’
'You have a high laughing point'.

Like the phrase "valid point" but funnier and for gamers. The word 'Valorant' is used because the first 3 letters are the same as the word 'valid.'

Valorant is a free-to-play multiplayer tactical first-person shooter developed and published by Riot Games, for Microsoft Windows. First teased under the codename Project A in October 2019, the game began a closed beta period with limited access on April 7, 2020 followed by official release on June 2, 2020.

they are used in the north of England and signify trust between two friends, No safe can be used to signify the loss of trust
