Pat Trick

The achivement when an individual player wins the league’s championship trophy 3 times in a row, on a minimum of two different teams. Named for Pat McCaw and Pat Maroon, who are the most recent players to accomplish this feat in the NBA and NHL respectively.

If his team wins again this year, he’ll have pulled off a Pat Trick.

$20 trick

$20 Trick is when people think that they can BRIBE the hotel front desk at a Vegas (or any hotel) for an upgraded room. This is not a trick but in fact a BRIBE.

Believe it or not you can ask nicely and if they have availability they will upgrade you for free.

Hotel clerks don’t have a magic “check box” that says “$20 Trick” and they click on it and upgraded rooms magically appear.

I did the $20 trick at Circus Circus and I got the clown deluxe penthouse suite with fountain views.

trick or trigger

the definition of "Trick or Trigger" is about a person killing someone by gun-shooting during Trick-or-Treating on Halloween. It doesn't always have to happen during that time (in other words, someone just getting shot on Halloween).
