The last name of a fictional family from the franchise Star Trek, often used in usernames as a quick way to identify someone as being a fan of the android Data, a character also from said franchise. Although he is not the only one who comes from this family, he is certainly the most well-known and liked. He is portrayed by Brent Spiner, along with most known male members of his family.
