Simply known as Wey Gey Hey or Gey Hey, Wesley Girls’ High School (WGHS ) Is the name of a prestigious all female Senior High School in Cape-Coast which is known for its motto “Live Pure, Speak True, Right Wrong and Follow the King. A Senior High school that is unmatched in academia and sports, having produced women of substance all over the world in the likes of Mrs Georgina Wood etc, The former Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana. They are also paired with Mfantsipim School, simply known as Botwe which is an all male Senior High School, also known for its prestige and excellence in producing men of value. Students of Wesley Girls are usually in competition with no one but themselves to become reliable future problem solvers that the world really needs. It is interesting to note that because of how successful products of the school are, a few schools have changed their names and adopted names such as Kumasi Wesley Girls , Accra Wesley Girls etc. It is truly an honor when one has their name attached to Wesley Girls High School as it shapes the younger generation into successful and hardworking role models that everyone can look up to.
