One week wonder

A song that will debut at the top of the charts, then disappear from the top 10 the next week.
Guy number one: "OMG That song that was number one last week isn't on the top 10 anymore"

28 Weeks Later

The sequel to the somewhat decent 28 Days Later. Lacks much of the style of the first movie, instead focusing on tension and lots of screaming and running away.

It should be noted that 99% of this film seems to have been shot in the dark. Not like "hey it's a little hard to see" but more like Blair Witch Project-style pitch blackness. Annoying as hell, if you ask me.
Hey did you see 28 Weeks Later?

first week euphoria

First week euphoria is the term used to describe the feelings of elation you experience during the first week of giving up something you are addicted to. You feel happier and more confident during the first seven days, before 'hitting the wall' on the eighth day and probably giving up trying.
James (8th January, 2009): Still given up the booze?
Jonas: Nupe, didn't make it past first week euphoria, I'm on the piss tonight!

Taco bye week

A Taco bye week is a term in fantasy football for a matchup with an opponent in your league who doesn't pay attention to their team. This causes the person to leave in players who are on a bye week or injured and not playing, leaving you with an easy win. Origin of the term is the FX comedy The League, in which the character Taco is infamous for not paying attention to his team all season or knowing anything about football.
Half of Louis's team is on bye or injured, so it looks like it's a Taco bye week for me.

two weeks into the future

The near future.

Exactly how far into the future is ambiguous, but it generally refers to anywhere from five to fifty years. Far enough into the future to be noticeably different from the present, but not far enough to be unrecognizable from the present.

Can also be "twenty minutes into the future", "five minutes into the future", and so forth. In this context, "two weeks" (or "twenty minutes" or "five minutes") is exagerrated the same way "that is so five minutes ago" is an exaggerated way of saying something is days or weeks out of date, or "this is taking all day" is an exaggerated way of saying something is taking too long.
"I just read a really good science fiction novel. You should check it out if you're into that sort of thing."

"Is it really futuristic, like Star Wars? With flying cars and ships and laser guns and laser swords? That kind of stuff?"

"No, it's more of a 'two weeks into the future' sort of thing."
