GIFFY

Acronym for "Gay in Five Fucking Years." Used to describe a young man who claims to be straight but acts otherwise, and finally comes out of the closet years later. Famous examples include Neil Patrick Harris and Lance Bass.

Gay 1: John is totally hot, but he says he's straight.
Gay 2: Yeah, right! Trust me, that boy is a total GIFFY.

Gifey amiably refers to the male wife of a gay male couple.

As Steve was irritated having to label his spouse as his 'life partner', and then unfortunately having to explain who was the husband and wife of the relationship, he decided to call his spouse 'gifey' of which his friends and acquaintances immediately understood the relationship, in all its form and glory.

Gift of gab

the "gift of gab" is the ability supposedly given to one who kisses the Blarney Stone in Ireland. This is the ability to talk others into doing what you want.

In Tommy Boy, Chris Farley seeks to find the gift of gab his father had as a salesman. This gift of gab is illustrated by David Spades comment that Farley's father could sell a "ketchup popsicle to a lady in white gloves."
