A term people use when they want their relationship with their significant other to sound more serious than it actually is. Usually used by insecure or desperate individuals.

I referred to my boyfriend as my future fiance when my landlord asked me who was moving into my place.

Futurama

A show created by the same guy who did the simpsons, and was much much funnier than the new simpsons, and about par with the old simpsons. Family guy is still funnier, but not by a whole lot. "FOX", the network that forcefed you "shitty reality show of the week" and "lame ass news" cancelled it prematurely. Needs to be brought back along with family guy.
The Simpsons needs to be cancelled. It's not funny anymore

Futoning

The act of being sick at college (actually sick, not hangover sick), and spending all of your sick time on the futon, because you can't stay in bed any longer, but you're too sick to go any father than the couch.

"Kendell is really sick, her away message said she was on the futon... oh man, shes futoning!"

"Yeah, I was futoning all last week!"

The Futon Effect

A Futon attempts to be both bed and couch, but makes a terrible bed and a terrible couch. The Futon Effect is a force which dooms many similar attempts to a similar fate.

Spork. A spork is that funny eating thing that is half-spoon and half-fork. Intended for camping, this unnecessary invention makes very bothersome the eating of either liquid or solid food, and thus can be said to suffer from The Futon Effect.
