Freudian Grab

Refers to a moment in which you hear or read something incorrectly, thus interpreting it as a dirty or sexual statement.

My brother in law had just finished from a long night of driving and arrived at my mom's house when we were watching the news. Recently, a small child had drowned in his family pool, so the news was doing a lot of stories on pool safety - showing children running around pools and playing under the watchful eyes of their parents. Mike glanced at the screen, took a moment, and started laughing. Wondering why he was laughing at a story of drowning children, we asked what was so funny. The title of the story was "Pool Dangers" and yet my fatigued bro-in-law was wondering why images of children would accompany the words "Pole Dancers" that he mistakenly read. This is a Freudian Grab.

Fred Jones

The Leader of Mystery Incorporated. After almost 50 years, he has stayed practically the same. His main personality traits are: Making Traps, Reading about traps, planning out traps, etc. His favorite Magazine of all time is "Traps Illustrated." He is also known for looking like a member of the Brady Bunch.

Person 1: Hey, who's that one guy cartoon character that looks like Donald Trump? The one with the traps.
Person 2: Are you referring to Fred Jones, from Scooby Doo?
Person 1: That's the one!

Freuded

To make a "Freudian slip" that is especially embarrassing or obnoxious. Typically followed by the offender or a bystander saying: "Oh crap I/you just freuded", and holding nose or waving hand in front of face as if trying to divert the smell away.

Person A: Why were you late?
Person B: I got stuck on Sex Avenue.

(Person B meant to say 6th Avenue, and has therefore just "freuded")

fat fred

of the kindred spirit. they like to eat corndogs and anything that is not fat free. will travel alone when searching through the refridgerator, does not prefer companionship at the dinner table. warning do not corner this species when eating, they become extremely violent and have been known to eat offenders. stay away from the small refridgerator.
