Red Button Effect

The ubearable attraction to a dangerous/alluring object or situation. Very close to a drug addiction.

Applies to: sex, cliff-jumping, large red buttons that say "Do Not Push", hot girls bent over searching though their bags, stealing, etc.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Rob saw a shiny, red Ferarri with its door open and keys in the lock. I could see him shaking and knew he was having trouble resisting the Red Button Effect.

Candy Corn Effect

The Candy Corn Effect is when you do too much of one thing then you start hating it. Named after the effect after eating too much candy corn, when you then start hating it.

It is used to describe something as in:

John: Dude I rode on that roller coaster so many times, now i'll throw up if i go on it
Steve: Oh so like the Candy Corn Effect?

The name for the phenomenon in which if you were to bring a particular item with you somewhere, you won't end up needing it, but should you not bring it, you will need it.

The Gunio effect

This term origins from when mr. gunio once made an entire class driven to suicide. It is when an even takes place and repeats itself many times over and over, and you slowly become even more miserable, depressed and lose the tiny bit of happiness you ever had. you will even forget your best friend. for example, you study multiple hours for a week to prepare for a math test, and then he gives you a test on a completely different subject. or one person cheats on a test, and everybody gets an F because of that. Or, your math teacher tells your parrents you are misbehaving, when in reality, you only asked soemebody for a pencil one time.

me: my teacher told my parents i was bullying a kid for a pencil, but i was only asking him kindly to borrow his pencil.

friend: the gunio effect kicks in once again

The Morgan Freeman Effect

When you see a phrase related to a movie or TV show in text and you immediately hear the actors voice in your head as you read it.

Examples: "Hasta la Vista baby." "Say hello to my little friend." "Here's Johnny!" "Sickness must be purged."
The reason this is referred to as "The Morgan Freeman effect" is because Morgans voice is so distinct and ingrained in peoples memories that it is notoriously and extremely easy to recall when seeing his picture or reading a quote by him.

That phrase has The Morgan Freeman Effect.

Little Jimmy Effect

The effect which states that the younger a person is, the harder it is to criticize them because others expect them to be ignorant of what they did wrong. Either this or the young person knows about this concept and are just pretending to seem ignorant. This effect lessens the older a person becomes. This was first coined by the Youtuber Racoon Eggs.

My cousin broke my fucking laptop cause he wanted to see me get mad. He's not getting in trouble because of the damn little jimmy effect
