Much like the chocolate bar, a flake is someone who pulls out of plans and lets you down. Your plans then crumble like a flake. Eventually you'll notice they slowly but surely disappear entirely from your life.
I've had several flakes in my life. It's so disappointing that people replace eachother so easily now.

A flake is someone who generally makes plans with you, promises to do things with you but can never seem to follow through. When confronted with their behavior they usually get defensive and run away.
Jordan made plans to go hangout with me. He either never shows up or is super late. Jordan is a flake.
