Butterfly

A swimming stroke requiring (in theory) super human strength and extraordinary coordination, but characterized ( in actuality) by randomly placed arm movements and erratic breathing patterns. Performance of this stroke is usually accomplished by incessant yelling on the part of the coach, sheer hysteria on the part of the parent and near drowning on the part of the swimmer.

Person 1: Coach said we have to do a 200 butterfly.
Person 2: So what you're trying to say is that coach wants us to die and give a reason to get yelled at?

Butterfly Swarm

A situation where there are alot more females than males. Not always a bad thing. It's the female equivalant of a sausage fest. The name refers to the female reproductive organ known as a vagina or butterfly.

Unfavorable

Nikki: I'm gonna head down to The Stratus Club and find some guy to hook up with.

Callie: NO! Never go down there.

Nikki: Why?

Callie: Because, its always a total butterfly swarm. You would be lucky to even see a guy there.
