People who have no emotional IQ and are unable to relate to others on a deeper level.

"He has no depth, he's such a surface bug."

"I cannot hold his attention for more than a sentence or two."

Also people who live vicariously through tv programs and do not participate in real life - ignore their family/friends, have no interests.

Opposite: those who live in the deep end of the pond.

True bug

Those tiny bastards with proboscises. Bed bugs are a true bug and they suck you while you're unconscious. The other guys in the group are also round balls with a stick coming out their mouth that they use to suck. Another example of true bugs is the assassin bug, who like their cousin, enjoy sucking you without consent.

That's not a fly, dumbass, it's a true bug!
