Anybody who believes that learning to understand and relate correctly to their environment has more meaning than getting drunk and laid and watching reality TV.

If you're persecuted by people dumber than you are, or you struggle to relate to people because you can't get into the usual routine of sex, bitching and the latest buzz, you are a nerd. Own it. The latest music will be old news by the end of next month. Science is here to stay! Don't resent yourself for being smarter than other people, for being Martin out of the Simpsons. He's the only one who actually knows how to enjoy himself without regretting it later.

Nerd

A Nerd is a person who inside knows it but doesnt make a song and dance about it. Not all Nerds are computor freaks, or into maths, many just enjoy a quiet peacefull existance knowing a little bit about averything. They're not all manga, anime, haylo ,WoW and LotR obsessed either. Many of this peacefull race have "normal" interests. We don't all dress weird either. It is a well known fact that Nerds tend to obsess over their many facts but hey, who doesnt?
Anyway, if you are reading this you are probably a Nerd looking for a suitable definition of yourself. You wont find one. We are individuals that have been put under the Nerd catagory. Celebrate that fact. Be proud of your Nerdiness! Be free to be you!

Girl- I'm scared that people think I'm a Nerd when really I'm an individual.
Nerd- Why? Be proud of that title!

semi nerd

A growing stereotype amongst male teenagers. It is someone between a computer nerd and sports addict. While semi nerd's are usually highly intelligent, they arent very interested in sports, or corny video games and over the top maths.

A typical semi nerd may play a console video game such as medal of honor, or Halo, they have many friends of both genders, but usually play two to no sports.

It could be said that they aren't nerds but they do nerd related activities in a 'cool' way.

Sporty Person: Look at this semi nerd, playing his pokemon or what ever...
Semi Nerd: Halo bro, get it right.

Google nerd

1. Someone who is astoundingly familiar with the workings of various Google products and services, and tells all of their friends about the such products.

2. Someone who uses various Google products and services way too much to be considered normal. Products used include but are not limited to- Google Earth, Google Scholar, Google News (a personalized home/news page is a must for a Google nerd), Google Maps, Google Calendar, Google Books, Google Video, Google Talk and Google Catalogs.

Person 1: "Dude, did you see I emailed you a Google voice message about how I saw my house on Google Maps and then found a corresponding satellite image on Google Earth? I tried to talk to you on Google talk, but I was too busy looking through articles on Google Scholar and Google News while reconfiguring my Google Desktop and adjusting my Google Calendar to pay attention when you responded. You also should check out this sweet video of our Spanish project that I put up on Google Video."

Person 2: "You are such a Google nerd"

nerd burglar

One who steals other people’s intangibles like personal pictures, spreadsheets, etc. left on a website in a private directory not meant to be shared with the public. Different from hacking it implies no or very little skill needed on their part.

You really can’t leave stuff out on the internet unencrypted anymore, all the nerd burglars will grab it.

Nerd burglars got the video of that one time... and now it's on youtube.
