Nirvana

one of the best bands ever. People can say they're over rated, and they may well be. But no one can say they hate them because if Nirvana hadnt excisted then at least half of the good music today wouldnt, they revolusionised music and delayed the attack of hip hop shit.
What i love about Nirvana is the meaning to the lyris, you can relate to his words.
So all i can say is, if its your thing then get the album but if not, whatever you do, think before you diss!!

Nirvana

One of the greatest bands ever formed. The Gods of Grunge. They have given inspiration and strength to a whole generation of kids, even though they are no longer together, their music will stay in our hearts and minds forever.

Even though I was only nine when Nirvana played in 1993 I was still the only third grader singing "Rape Me".

Nirvana

A state of complete and total understanding. Used primarily in Buddhism. A person undergoes a series of reincarnations, gaining knowledge and learning lessons for each. With each reincarnation, one gains or loses an amount of karma, or magical force. Once one has received a specific amount of karma, he is able to break away from the cycle of reincarnations, and enter the state of being known as nirvana. Those who have reached such a state are considered buddhas, in honor of the religion's founder, Siddhartha, or the Buddha.

Nirvana, the seattle grunge band that defined a decade, the band that set the standard of punk and grunge all at once. A small time band from Aberdeen, WA, Nirvana consisted of Kurt Cobain, a man that was perhaps the greatest and most demented who ever lived,on guitar and vocals, Krist Novoselic on bass, and David Grohl on drums. Nirvana made its debut with the Bleach album. It was originally printed with merely 6,000 copies, which sold out almost instantaniously. The Nevermind album was the huge catapult to stardom and included the song Smells Like Teen Spirit. In a tragic, but fitting ending to this band of anti-conformists, Kurt Cobain committed suicide in April of 1994.

Kurt Cobain was the vocalist and lyricist of the band, Nirvana.

Nirvana Fallacy

The Nirvana Fallacy is the name for an instance when a person does not do something because they fear that it will not turn out like they envision it in their minds.
Sometimes this prevents people from doing anything.
This stems from the philosophy that anything short of perfect is just as good as nothing at all.

John wants to lose weight, and decides to walk 2 blocks to the subway station near his job instead of taking the bus home.
He tells his friend, Mike...

John: I'm going to walk 2 blocks to the subway instead of taking the bus home.
Mike: HAH! Like that'll do anything! You're a freaking whale!
John: *sigh*...I guess you're right.

He then proceeds to take the bus home. That is the Nirvana Fallacy in action.
