A friggin incredible DVR that can record two shows at once & will auto-record shows that it thinks you will like! Im my opinion it created the whole 'pause live TV' feature & other cable providers caught on. Like I said you can Pause, rewind, fast foward & record live TV & store it on the system's hardrive. The newer boxes are the best since they come with WiFi & ethernet capabilities which enables you to be able to watch YouTube on your TV. They also run a modefied version of Linux & has the ability to go into a Kernel Panic which is what you don't want lol.

I love the TiVo & I also love Linux...

A person that TiVo's shows that merely look good when in reality they have no time or intention of watching it.

Do you realize that you have the entire seasons of 6 different shows that have been canceled on your TiVo. You are such a TiVo packrat!

Tivo Hoarder

A person who saves numerous television programs and/or movies to their DVR after viewing them with a small chance they will ever actually watch them again.

Chelsea is such a Tivo hoarder. Yesterday I was going through her DVR list and there was stuff from 2005 marked "save till manually erased"

My mom had to buy a second Tivo for her bedroom because her old one is still full of every sex and the city episode ever made. She's never going to watch 90% of them again but she's a Tivo hoarder.

Tivnesia

The act of forgetting to fast-forward through the commercials even though the show is Tivo'ed.

I sat there watching all the stupid commercials and then realized I could have fast-forwarded through all the crap; hate it when I have bouts of Tivnesia.
