skuddyhunker

A word used by rural Nova Scotians to refer to people from east of Guysborough (Queensport, White Head, etc). While it is considered derogatory when used by people who don’t live there, it is often used by those who do to refer to each other in a negative light.

1. You know what’s wrong with that fella. He’s just a dirty skuddyhunker

Your highway speed buddy. The car on the highway that you travel with - sometimes leap frogging back and forth, but staying together while you travel a certain stretch of road. On long road trips, it's sad to see your spuddy get off the highway.
