C.R.A.S.H.

An acronym for Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums. It is a police squad unit originally created by the LAPD as a way to break the infrastructure of crime in the ghettos. It turns out leadership of these CRASH teams became corrupt, and even the most decorated officers were guilty of killing other cops, selling and using crack, and planting weapons and drugs in order to frame innocents. The origins of the CRASH lead back into the fifties, when J. Edgar Hoover ran the FBI, and as sneak attacks before dawn and after midnight would claim the lives of many black leaders, and eventually the Black Panthers and rappers like Tupac Shakur. CRASH disbanded officially circa 2001, but very similar units exist across the US in other departments.
Many CRASH cases are still unsolved, and the LAPD is imfamous for hiding any inciminating files.

It is suspected that the shooting and murder of Biggie Smalls in LA in 1997 was set up by a local CRASH unit with help from the LA bloods.

s/h/it

On internet message boards and blogs, with growing concern for political correctness, people feel compelled to refer to any unknown or anonymous entity as "he or she" or "he/she" etc.

In response to this, people who have a distaste for political correctness have coined the term s/h/it, pronounced just as it looks. It stands for she/he/it, cleverly taking a disdainable situation and turning it on it's ear.

"S/h/it may answer the question in which ever manner s/h/it wishes."

S.H.A.R.P. Skinhead

'Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice', Skinhead look, dress, style and attitude without the racist propaganda. Bottom line just proud men, proud warriors from where ever and whatever land they may be from.

I went to school with a Chapter Leader of S.H.A.R.P. Skinhead in Toronto, Canada and also met some members of S.H.A.R.P. while in England and can say they are some of the toughest & gnarliest yet respectful guys I've ever met. Thats saying a lot seeing as I'm from gang territory of Los Angeles.

I.B.I.S.H.

"I Believe In Sherlock Holmes."
A saying that many Brits have been saying after BBC's Sherlock's (2nd) Season Finale had aired. They started saying these things because on the episode, Sherlock died in disgrace, everybody believing that he had made Moriary & other cases up in order to gain more public popularity.

A sign to others that you are a Sherlockian.

(In other cases, "Moriarty Is Real" suffices as well.)

"Ugh," says the non-believing ninnymuggins. "Sherlock is a fraud, he killed himself just because things didn't go as he schemed."

All of a sudden, a Sherlockian fangirl appears and shows the non-believing ninnymuggins the badge on her shirt. 'I.B.I.S.H.' was written on it in beautiful magic markers.

"MORIARTY IS REEEEAL!!!" Says the fangirl, and she throws a BAFTA at the non-believing ninnymuggins in anger. "Fuck you, Martin Freeman won a BAFTA!" She screams, then walks away proudly.
