A smale version of the word “bop”, a term commonly used by immature (straight) males aged 14-25 who think they can degrade women who are waaayyy out of the their league, out of their own insecurities AKA trying too hard to be an alpha male. This term is often used on social media, where one’s identity can be unknown. They do this behind a screen as they too scared or should I say pussy to say it irl. These males often don’t have a fully developed frontal lobe, leading them to not think rationally about their actions. The origin of this word comes from the word “sloppy” kinda like their personalities…

Joshua is such a slop, he only talks about himself and everything in life has to go his way, as he is trying to hard to be an alpha when things don’t go his way he’ll often end up in a tantrum which can be external or internal.

SLOP 

SLOP = SLack Object Permanence. This is the concept where in any large chat tool like Slack, you are inundated with so much information on an hourly basis, you forget where you saw a specific topic posted or, in some cases, that the topic was even mentioned.

The concept of "Object Permanence" can be seen in infants where when they see something, in their brain, it now exists. However, when the object is hidden from view, the object ceases to exist.

So, after you read a post in Slack or Teams or whatever, it becomes SLOP. It no longer exists.

Bob: "Hey Chuck, where is that document thread in Slack that the VP wanted us to review?"

Chuck: "Dude, its right here in the #crap-you-forgot channel in Slack!"

Bob: "Sorry man, it got dumped into my SLOP bucket"

A word usually defined as, garbage, and low effort, but can also be added to the end of already existing words like, trend, A.I, game, etc. Adding slop to the end of these example words can give you, trendslop, A.I slop, gameslop, and many more which all mean low quality in their own specific niches.
