Trinity getting some of Neo's powers totally made sense because after she dies what do you think they would have to use to reconstruction her? NEO! That's why half of his powers got transferred to Trinity! What would they rebuild her with OTHER THAN the only other organic material around!? That's why they get stronger when theyvare closer together! They are two halves of 'The One' powers. Robot social hierarchy leaves the door open for more movies.
