Canadian television and film actor who is best known for his roles as Stanley Raymond Kowalski in the TV series due South and as Billy Tallent in the cult mockumentary film Hard Core Logo. The majority of his (female) fans consider him eminently doable and many of them have a rather strange obsession with his hands. His recent work includes a number of large roles in small Canadian movies and small roles in larger Hollywood productions. The characters he portrays seem to die a lot. As Leoben Conoy in Battlestar Galactica he recently set Starbuck's heart a flutter as she killed him, a lot.

Although he didn't win, Jardine still got a career in the UFC, where he dropped down to the light heavyweight division. He has fought the likes of Houston Alexander, along with his fellow Ultimate Fighter alumni Stephan Bonner and Forrest Griffin. His major victory came in September 22, 2007 when he won split decision against the "Iceman" Chuck Liddell.
