Identity Dysphoria

An umbrella term for dysphoria caused by identity incongruence including gender dysphoria, species dysphoria (referring to what is experienced by Therians and Otherkin), and age dysphoria. Contrary to popular belief, identity dysphoria is not exclusive to people with identities that differ from what they were born as or physically are. In theory, anyone can have identity dysphoria if they experience identity incongruence. For instance, if a cis man has gynomastia, he may experience gender dysphoria. However, this is much more rare and the majority of people who experience gender dysphoria are transgender, intersex, and/or double-binary.

My body does not reflect my identity and it causes me identity dysphoria.

Intentionally injecting a victim with a specific identity—which can be better or worse than their prevalent identity—by treating them in a certain way in order to manipulate the victim.

My mother is an intuitive master practitioner of identity imposition, she treats me like a genius somedays when we are on good terms, and like a fool when we fall into a conflict.

identity theft

One of the most innacurate myths in U.S. history. In reality, if a credit card is stolen, the business where the criminal spent the funds at, will be hurt, not the card holder. If someone steals your card, and you tell the card company, they will take the money away from the business, not the customer. In turn, the business will lose money, go our of business, or be hurt permanently. However, most people still believe that THEY are the victim.

I don't recognize this $10 charge on my card, it must be identity theft, like they said on TV. I better call mastercard, so they can put the money back on my card. Wow, I'm so traumatized.
