Get the Golmug. GOL is an acronyom that stands for Gniffel Out Loud. This is mostly used in text messages. GOL is very similar to LOL (Laughing Out Loud), but it's not the same. Gniffel, which is Dutch for chuckle, gives the receiver of the text a more realistic idea of what the sender is doing, as laughing out loud to a text message is way less likely to happen than to chuckle to one.
