Factory Rat

Proud self-epithet for a blue collar worker with a job that is dirty, physically hard and deadend, but who has a union and makes great money with all the benefits. The rats among factory rats are the ones who take as much over time as they can and might as well live at the factory like the actual rats do.

The factory rats got their profit sharing checks this week and all the speed boat sales peole and strippers are cleaning up.

Factory Rat

Person who gets stuck in a dead-end blue-collar job at a factory and spends decades in a position he despises; only to retire with an environmental issue or lousy pension.

My days in Detroit were the lousiest days of my life. I was a Factory Rat with no college education.

Factory Rat - "Where do you work?"

Man in suit - "I'm an accountant for the firm that owns that giant high-rise right there. How about you?"

Factory Rat - "Ive been working at the steel mill since I graduated high school"

Man in suit - "You suck."

cars that come pre-riced directly from the factory. The most common factory riced cars are Neons (especially the SXT), Cavaliers, Focuses, Civics and Lancers. These economy cars come with wings, rims and interior and exterior stying cues that mimic modifications commonly done by rice boys. However, there is never any performance advantages to having a factory riced car.

Wow! look at those stock 16 inch rims on that cavalier!

That neon SXT costs 18 grand! It better have a CD player and A/C!

A farm that is industrialized and cares more about profit than treatment of animals. Factory farm will in the future come to be the only type of farm, and so will just be called "a farm"

The factory farm had no problem with sending feces-splattered chickens to market.
