Deliya is smart, yet a slow person. She tells people she isn’t intelligent to avoid giving the wrong information; even though 9 times out of 10... she’s right. She doesn’t like to lead people astray and second guesses her work. Despite the fact that she can be antisocial at times, she can switch to a social butterfly when need be. Some may say she loves hard, while others say she doesn’t like people... but she loves those closest to her indefinitely. When you hear the words "athlete" or "artist" you think of Deliya. She’s a go getting and an entrepreneur who does what she puts her mind to.

FA delay

It's the slight delay in understanding you experience while talking to someone with a Foreign Accent.

Delta Nu

The sisterhood of Delta Nu was founded on October 8, 1971 at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Prior to this date, the sisterhood was the Delta chapter of the national sorority Chi Omega. This chapter wanted to offer bids to women of minority status, however our national organization did not permit us to do so. Chi Omega refused to alter their policies, so, the Delta chapter decided to return our national charter and form a local sorority. This sorority is made up of beautiful fun loving individuals. Each is as unique as the rainbow, which happens to be one of their symbols. Regarded as the best sorority at Dickinson College

delayed hangover

Unlike the typical hangover where you wake up sick and feeling like shit, the delayed hangover is a tricky little bitch.

This is the phenomenon that occurs when you have spent the evening drinking to excess. You go to bed drunk. You wake up feeling fine! You go about your normal routine- eating, drinking coffee and such. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, the hangover that you smugly thought you had escaped materializes. This is HOURS after you woke up. What. The. Hell.

Synonymn: Creeper Hangover.

Last night I got so drunk! I woke up feeling awesome so I decided to go see my parents, only to be ambushed with the dreaded delayed hangover. I spent alot of time in the bathroom and trying not to pass out. I played it off to my parents that I ate something bad.
