Cheddar (noun)

1. A random person you meet on a night out who somehow becomes one of the funniest parts of the evening despite being a complete stranger. They aren't necessarily weird, attractive, awkward, or memorable on their own—they just contribute to the lore. The next morning, they're the person everyone spends five minutes debriefing: "Wait... what was that guy's deal?" or "Did you see the girl who...?" They exist in the story, not your contacts.

"The bartender was cool, but that dude in the cowboy boots who kept appearing in every conversation? Absolute cheddar."

"Last night had some elite cheddar."

Cheddar (Verb)
2. A mindset or verb meaning to embrace spontaneous interactions with strangers and become part of someone else's night-out story—not by trying too hard, but by naturally adding to the chaos, fun, or absurdity of the moment.

3. (Plural: cheddars) The collection of random characters who make a night memorable, even if nobody remembers their names.

"The party wasn't great, but the cheddars carried the night."
"The bartender was cool, but that dude in the cowboy boots who kept appearing in every conversation? Absolute cheddar."

"Last night had some elite cheddar."

"Let's go out and cheddar."

"Everyone thinks they're the main character until they realize they're probably somebody else's cheddar. 🧀"
