Blueskyism

The worst aspects of (some of) the American left rolled into one, which make progressivism less appealing to the general public. Helped Trump win in 2024.

Aspects of Blueskyism include an inability to STFU about Trump/Vance/Elon, etc., demonization and even death threats towards, for example, the center-left (see the journo Jesse Singal), "cancel culture" in general, extreme hostility towards anyone who promotes A.I., et cetera.

As its name suggests, it's associated with the titular Twitter clone site, where the phenomenon runs rampant.

Back in the Tumblr era, "Blueskyism" didn't work. It definitely won't work now.
