Sadly the most popular and most widely used Assault Rifle in the world. It fires the 7.62x39mm short rifle round. The AK-47 is both a symbol of freedom and oppression. It is known to be very reliable, rugged, and durable; one can throw dirt in the ejection port, mud down the barrel, etc., and it will still fire. The tradeoff for its durability is its performance; the AK-47 is terribly inacurrate at intermediate-long ranges, which negates its purpose as an assault rifle. Overall the AK-47 is a piece of crap.
