Fish Loop

A playful, circular conversation where thoughts cycle endlessly without resolution—often full of hypotheticals, tangents, and deep dives into random topics. Fish loops aren’t about reaching conclusions; they’re about getting lost in the fun of the discussion. Sometimes intentional, sometimes spontaneous, a fish loop is the adult version of daydreaming—like mentally wandering through a "what if" rabbit hole with no urgency to escape.

Mortiphoric loop

A never ending cycle of thoughts that mentally, emotionally, or physically drain a person, ultimately leading to their deterioration. That begin with the awareness of a negative situation or emotional state, which spirals them into self-pity and hopelessness of their current situation. The individual becomes trapped in this cycle by repeatedly returning to the same distressing thought or feeling, reinforcing the belief that their situation is unchangeable, leading to a deepening sense of despair. This loop makes it next to impossible to break free from, as each cycle reinforces the last.

"After having a suicidal ideation, I fell into a mortiphoric loop, as I was reflecting on the fact I had a suicidal ideation and it made me think about how bad my life was and that led to me having another suicidal ideation. This cycle keeps repeating itself and I can't escape it"

"Her mortiphoric loop kept her stuck in a cycle of regret and self-blame, unable to move forward."

Lepanese loop around

When you on a road that has a 3 lane road to a round about but you notice both 1st and 2nd lanes are full, so you take the 3rd lane to go into the round about and go all the way round to your exit which will probably be the first exit. Whilst doing it you shout "LEPANESE LOOP AROUND!"
