Bender

This is a hockey slang term. It refers to a player whose ankles bend when they skate, use colored tape, and use a lot of clear tape on their ankles.

Look Bud, coach's kid is a total bender.

Bender

The act of having a severe bend at the ankles while playing hockey. Usually developed after years of being dangled or at the beginning of a hockey career. Can be aided by ankle tape but no definite cure.
