punk rock is just not giving a fizzuck. and you can't really define it anyway, its different to everyone, because punk is something in everyone. and like who are you to say its wrong? brrt go fuck yourself. and good charlotte and stuff didn't "wreck" or "tarnish" punk, because you cant wreck it .. thats suggesting its replacing it, which is doesnt or can't. it's not like it can make it go away or anything. fuckers.

That is the basis of punk.

Its a way of expressing yourself. Punk was started by The Sex Pistols, and the banner is now carried by many bands. Punk is one of the many strands of rock music, including metal , blues rock, and classic rock.

Theres a common misconception that you have to dress the part to listen to punk. It is total bs. It doesn't matter at all how you look. There is no need to get a mohawk, or rip ur fav tshirt. As long as you like the music, its fine by me
