Operation Ragnarok (ラグナロク作戦 Sakusen na' Ragunaroku), is a large offensive campaign taking place over the course of Mega Man Zero 4, ordered by Dr. Weil in order to maintain his tyrannic rule and is perhaps the scientist's most heinous scheme yet. The eight main bosses are used as a cover-up for the real threat: a space station under the name of Ragnarok. The final goal of Operation Ragnarok is to destroy Area Zero, the crash site of the space colony Eurasia in Mega Man X5.

To his teammates it is a sign of experience, knowledge, and grit. To the head-shed it symbolizes poor decision making and filth.
