These were leather mitts with one finger(index) used by chainsaw operators, bush workers, hunters, trappers and many outsdoormen/women
I first heard the term home in Northern Ontario while working in a clothing store.
(See Snot Liners)

The wearer did not have to take his mitt off to wipe his runny nose-he had more control-hence came the name-Snot Leathers!

A one finger mitt used by bushworkers -chainsaw operators,trappers,outdoorsmen/women and all of us in Northern Ontario and Que. (see Snot Leathers)
Liners for the latter
Liners for the latter
Appropriately called Snot Liners beacause they were made to fit the Leathers. On warmer days of the winter leathers were taken off-- and still would be easy to wipe your runny nose without exposing yourself.

The act of sucking snot from another person's nose, then transferring it back and forth with eachothers mouths. The snot ball should continue to grow in size and take on a snowmobile effect.
I had such a bad cold last week, so my girl decided to give me a snot-job snowball. It was just what I needed to clear up my sinuses.

An offensive slur used against Eskimos and indigenous people living in northern climates. Snot Sucker refers to the practice of an Inuit mother orally sucking the mucus out of their infant child's nose. The purpose of snot sucking is to prevent nose discharge from dripping onto the child's face and freezing due to the sub-zero temperatures.
