When you hang out with someone named Scott and have so much fun that you stay up late into the night and sleep all day the next day or feel extremely tired. However, the satisfaction and fun gained from the night before makes up for the tiredness.
Partying with Scott all night was so fun! Now I'm suffering the Scott effect because I didn't get enough sleep.

Steve has also been featured on the TWiT network with Leo Laporte and other celestial objects. He lives in Utah with his family and two Russian hostages. Pulling a "Scott" is when you use someone else's words as your own, without initially crediting them. Occurs in many contexts, including when someone makes a joke that's clever, somewhat obscure, and fits so well into the conversation it seems like they made it up on the spot. Also, when someone inputs something extremely romantic into a conversation, which is actually a song lyric or a movie line.
