London River

The River Thames, the river that runs through London, capital of the UK, and the main city of England, Great Britain and the British Isles.
This is a nautical or marine term, dating back many centuries, to the time when London was (one of) the main ports of England - see also Bristol - and many cargo ships berthed there.
Still in use in the 1980's, and probably beyond.

After over a year away on a British ship, seamen of all ranks would often get the 'Channels' as they passed between England and France, prior to ascending the London River and berthing in The Pool of London - and then paying off!

Fall River

A small town in southeastern Massachusetts that was once the country's number one textile producer. The people are predominantly Portuguese, but there is a large Cambodian population. There are five sections of Fall River: the South End, the North End, the Highlands, the Flint, and the Narrows. Most people who live in the Highlands believe they are better than everyone else because their houses are sually old. They fail to mention that fact that most of those houses are now tenements and/or falling apart.

Dude, Fall River sucks ass.

A small town in the southeast of LA that is pretty close to New Orleans.We don't have much out here but I like to call it home.GO REBELS.....I guess!

Pearl River, LA is the smallest town in the middle of NOWHERE!!! Really, try to find it on a map. It will take you at least 30 minutes.
