Guitar Hero

Guitar hero is rhythm game that has the player use a plastic guitar with 5 color fret buttons (or 6 with guitar hero live) and the player has to hit the right button and strum with said Button the get a score. The game was also bought by activision with RedOctane and milked the game.

A generic term referring to any main protagonist from any kind of media (i.e. movies/TV shows/video games) that a person knew and loved during his/her childhood.

Hero Marine

Starcraft term; when attacking a base, the "Hero Marine" is a Terran Marine that survives an engagement that destroys most of the other units/Marines and goes on to destroy the Nexus/Hatchery/Command Center to shut down the expansion.

Also used sarcastically to describe an idiotic and overly-motivated Marine who thinks that yelling "oorah!" is the same as getting actual work done. See also motard, motivator, blue falcon.

The platoon had to police-call one square kilometer because a Hero Marine lost his night vision goggles.
