A dork is a silly person that can always be themselves. They act silly around new people in a form of getting to know them. A dork talks to everyone and can become friends with anyone in a minute. A dork is also the type of person to stand in the middle of a large crowd and yell whatever the hell they want just for the fun of it. Dorks are also attractive in their own unique way.

These traits make people think they are less intelligent than their reclusive, sexless counterparts, but in fact they are of equal intelligence. Dorks and nerds share in common the social ineptitude that comes with high intelligence. Geeks, on the other hand, are fairly social and form tight knit communities with other geeks interested in the same things as them, but they cannot relate to anyone who does not share their same exact niche interests. Dorks and nerds, being more private, are less clannish and more capable of relating to others under the right circumstances; however, they often fail when they try too hard, which the dork is more often guilty of than the nerd.
