Depression 

A word that is often taken lightly, but thankfully is being taken more seriously as the years pass.

Depression doesn't necessarily equal sadness, rather it's emptiness. Hope just runs away from you when you're depressed. Some people will fake depression for attention, not understanding its true depths. Depression feels like screaming for help, but no one hears you. Or, it can feel like the world is one big pool party, and you're drowning knowing everyone around you is in blissful oblivion of your pain.
Depressed people are not bad. They are strong. Every day they wake up, feeling like the world is against them, but they still get up and live.

Depression 

A serious chronic illness passed through DNA slightly which has a chance of becoming depression after a build up of high stress, trauma, or anxiety it may be able to pyschologically, mentally, and psychically change one's life and effect their brain permanently. It can leave people to sometimes feel dull or empty, or guilty, unworthy, or just generally not good. This can ruin or disrupt a person's appetite and eating as well as sleep and social life. This can make things you used to enjoy not enjoyable. While it can be treated through medicine and therapy it is still there. It is not your fault, or their fault and no one is to blame for it. Sometimes this can lead to a lack of energy, motivation, and an overall negative outlook on everything. There are many different variations of depressive disorders like MDD or Clinical Depression. Occasionally depressive episodes can occur.

"Hey man, I noticed you seem to be moving slightly slower than usual and you sort of seem out of it. You cancelled our weekly tradition and you have never done that. Something is off, are you okay?"

"I think I should be honest, this isn't your fault or anything but I have been feeling quite depressed for a long time and I am in a episode right now. I think I have depression."

"I'm sorry to hear that pal. I am here for you, try speaking with a psychiatrist to get diagnosed and come talk to me, your friends, family, loved ones if you need anything we will understand. I will find you a good therapist and I am sorry for being oblivious."

Oh Depression. Depression and Depression. What is depression you ask? well..its what i feel in the inside all the time. I don’t trust my own smile because i smile in pain. But if you really wanna know what depression means? Well its when you are sad and in pain. Thats what i feel. I don’t think anyone would really want to care or read this. I would most likely get made fun of so i never express my feeling. And im not tying to get attention i have just never expressed my feelings to anyone

Depression 

Depression is a whole different thing and feeling. It just makes you sad, and if it is for long, it will make you hurt in your heart. It is very important to talk to somebody, or you might heal yourself. Talking to somebody removes depression, so it is very important. Depression can happen for many things, and this is an example: You lost somebody and failed your exam. There are unique things that can caused the Depression which can last so long so before it hurts you, you should remove it by talking to somebody or healing yourself.

Depression is a state of mind in which you no longer care if you live or die. Whoever is reading this, I hope your life improves and you will be able to be happy again. Please remember that there are people who care about you, and I know it's rich coming from me, but please reach out to someone. Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. It affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. Symptoms of depression include feelings of sadness, tearfulness, emptiness or hopelessness, loss of interest or pleasure in most or all normal activities, sleep disturbances, including insomnia or sleeping too much, tiredness and lack of energy, so even small tasks take extra effort, reduced appetite and weight loss or increased cravings for food and weight gain, anxiety, agitation or restlessness, slowed thinking, speaking or body movements, feelings of worthlessness or guilt, fixating on past failures or self-blame, trouble thinking, concentrating, making decisions and remembering things, frequent or recurrent thoughts of death, suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts or suicide, and unexplained physical problems, such as back pain or headaches. Depression is treatable with medication, psychotherapy or both.
