Burst-DPS

A subtype of the DPS (Damage-Per-Second) term commonly used in MMORPG’s; Burst-DPS refers to large amounts of damage being dealt all at once, without lasting for a sustained amount of time.

Conversely, moderate damage sustained over a medium-long duration of time is referred to as Sustained-DPS
