El artista de origen marroquí Samy Chakur, también conocido como Mar$o, es un hombre polifacético. Su campo de trabajo como rapero, productor y artista multidisciplinar es variado y su objetivo y pasión es llegar al alma de la gente a través de su música, describiendo situaciones cotidianas y utilizando para ello todo el potencial emotivo que ofrece el arte, de una forma inteligente y que permita reflexionar al público.
Sin duda alguna, Mar$o recuerda y se ha inspirado en sus experiencias de migrante joven que llegó a España desde una zona humilde de Marruecos y que tuvo que trabajar en varias profesiones para llegar a cumplir su sueño. Mar$o aprovecha el arte para narrar a través de su estilo situaciones reales y en ocasiones duras, pero sin renunciar al alma, transmitiendo a su público mensajes de superación que salen del corazón, de su propia experiencia vivencial.
