An expression of extremes. Can be used in positive and negative situations alike; feeling that words description cannot suffice, or substituted for actually verbiage if speaker cannot articulate their thoughts.

He is that one person you can count on to be there. On the outside he seems like he doesn’t care but is very soft on the inside.
