President's holiday

n. a day off from school that was not originally scheduled but was later "declared" by an official of said school. This type of holiday is undertaken solely for demonstrating the school's capability to do such a thing, always heralded by immense approval by both students and faculty. Similar to a Frank-Day, but for everybody.

We were going to have school this Friday, but because our football team is going to states, Dr. Michaels declared it a President's holiday!

Schools (including SME) and jobs halt during the holiday and bosses and teachers should also take a break. Teachers and bosses should not give their students or employees work to do during that period.
