Penitentiary Rich

Slang term for when a person has a large quantity of one or more items that have little-to-no real world value, such as cigarettes, rolls of stamps, etc. that would bring them beaucoup prison currency, even real world money via money transfer apps and services.

Also used when an inmate receives a large deposit of money onto their books, allowing them to order excessive amounts of certain items when they make store, allowing them a monopoly on those items - such as soups, hygiene products, stamps, etc.

Inmate 1: Hey did you hear about Dave? His old lady deposited half her tax check on his books!
Inmate 2: Yeah, I heard. He bought all the chicken soups, snack cakes, and smokes from commissary and is flipping that shit for double.

Inmate 1: Yeah he acts like he's some Pablo Esco-behind-bars or something
Inmate 2: Homie too good for us since he got penitentiary rich!

Penidentuary

A combination of the word penitentiary and dentist. The word is used to describe an uncomfortable place for many, normally called the dentists, but for those who see it as a terrible and inescapable place, it becomes their Penidentuary.

“The young boy loved to eat candy, but did not share that love for brushing his teeth. His punishment: he was sent to the penidentuary!”

“My dentist said that i was on probation, and if I didn’t clean up my act, he would make me go back to the penidentuary!”
