Smash player

A Smash player is someone who plays a Smash Bros. game. The stereotypical Smash player is a smelly nerd that plays the game all day, only plays on legal stages, items never on, and is a pedophile. This isn't the case most of the time. Smash players are people of all ages that enjoy the game competitively or casually. The majority are competitive players. There are plenty of cringe/weird people in the community, but there is also plenty of really nice people as well. Many people make the generalization that Smash players are smelly nerds because they assume that since they spend lots of time on the game, they don't spend anytime on hygiene. This is true for some players, but not the majority of people. The stereotype that Smash players are pedophiles rose because in July, 2020, numerous sexual misconduct allegations were posted on Twitter about Smash players. These allegations were risen on over fifty members of the Super Smash Bros. community, including some of the game's most well-known professional players, commentators, tournament organizers, and content creators. The accusations included instances of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and sexual abuse of minors.

Average gamer: What's your favorite game?
Smash player: My favorite game is Smash Ultimate.
Average gamer: Ewww, so you're a pedophile.
Smash player: Fuck off.

Another situation:
Average gamer: What's your favorite game?
Smash player: My favorite game is Smash Ultimate.
Average gamer: Cool. I used to play that game, I sucked at it.
Smash player: Maybe we could play it together sometime and I can teach you.

Runescape player

A Runescape player is simply someone who plays Runescape, a game created by Jagex. The players ages range from about 13-42 year olds. If you play or ever play Runescape, I recommend not helping players, EVER. If you help a person find a town, give them some item(s), help them or a quest, etc., there's about a 50% (plus 1% for every level below 50) chance this person will add you as a friend and bug you constantly for free items, quest help, or money.

If someone asks for help, it's best to just say "Sorry, I no english speak" or something similar.

Runescape player: Hey u.
You: What?
Runescape player: Can u take me 2 fally im lost.
You: Sure, I guess.
*Four minutes later*
You: Here we are.
Runescape player: Ty
You: Yw
*Two days later*
Runescape player: Can u get me free rune armor?
You: FUCK YOU!

wannabe player

A man who tries to play but just can't get it right.

He lies and cheats but never gets away with it.

He lies so much that he forgets his own lies and trips himself up.

He forgets to use protection while fucking hookers so ends up with lots of diseases and then wonders how he got found it.

Because of his lifestyle he will naturally have an infected, diseased dick.

An embarrassment to other men.

Can only get women if he pays them.

A really bad liar.

A Gary Player is a word commonly associated with all-day drinking sessions. Often a Gary Player can sneak up on you when you only plan to have one pint of San Miguel following your breakfast.

Role-player

Generally A person who indulges in Roleplaying games (RPG's)that involve two or more people. popularized by the infamous Dungeons and dragons games. With the advance of computer technology, Roleplaying games and their creation is becoming something of a lost art, and therefore Role-players in the orginal sense of the word are becoming harder and harder to find.

That guy runs two games, and plays in two others.. he's quite a role-player.
