Similar to symptoms of being bipolar. The effect causes changes in a person's mood, energy, and ability to function.
While not being as serious as the latter, this tendency may induce confusion to others and maybe even arguments.

When you have an exam in 3 days and you know that you won't have the time to study, because it is just to much you may give up on learning at all, which would be called a Dennisovitsch Effect
