Slut-shaming

Slut-shaming is calling out a girl’s behaviour when looking for a reason she was raped or sexually assaulted, or using her clothes or behaviour as an excuse for assault.

Unfortunately the term has been appropriated by idiots to mean “I can act like a cheap whore and nobody should be allowed to say anything about it” These women are usually the same ones who ACTUALLY do most of the slut shaming.

Sexual Assault Victim: I’m worried you’ll get hurt if you keep hanging around with pimps and wearing nothing but pasties and a thong, and posting your nudes all over the internet.

Whore: omg! Stop slut-shaming me! I can wear whatever I want! You’re such a stupid feminist! And you’re probably lying about that guy raping you because I know you slept with some other guy like 2 days ago!
