Da nationality of Asian folks who practice da custom of respectfully "getting 50% down" --- i.e., bending your legs at da first joint, so dat you're halfway between standing and sitting on da ground.

I find dat emulating da Chiknees is rather awkward and physically demanding; a 45-degree bow, tip/doff of my hat, or a solemn handshake is more my style when reverently greeting someone.
