when you and/or someone have gone down(oral) on the same girl. past or present girlfriend, stranger, fling, one night stand, f*ck buddy, or relative(not from the same family tree!!)

from the movie, No Strings Attached, the son had a girlfriend but they broke up, in the future the father started dated that same girl...the son's friends called him out on being tongue buddies for going down on the same girl

Shot Buddies

They are probably one of your best friends and someone you can tell anything to and trust with your life. They are the person that would do anything for you and always keeps you strong and is kinda like your battle buddy (meaning whatever you do/go that's what they're gonna do also). Your 'Shot Buddy' ultimately is most of all the person who won't let you drink alone (because that's just sad) and will always be there to look at you and say "If you take it I will".

Becky saw Zack taking shots by himself at a party so she went and took them with him, they became shot buddies and now bestfriends.

moon buddies

Best friends who share the common goal to cease every opportunity to moon the general public together. They never moon alone, they only moon as a pair. They have either develop an interest in mooning together over the course of their friendship or they bonded over the passion to moon the unsuspecting citizens.

"My moon buddy, John, and I mooned the assembly last week. It was awesome!"

Person 1: Hey I only see you two moon together, are you guys moon buddies?
Person 2: Course we are, never have we mooned without each other!
Person 3: Yeah we physically cannot moon alone!
Person 1: K, cool.
