An effect that is present in many public relations campaigns involving polls or contests. The public, if presented with one, will vote for an option that is out of the ordinary or generally weird. This was seen in the Dub The Dew contest where the most voted option for the new Mtn Dew flavor name was "Hitler Did Nothing Wrong."

the "AloneSword" effect is an effect that manipulates the human and plays with their fears and makes them question themselves. it can also make them say dumb shit which allows the effect to screenshot everything they say and send it to another user in order to create humiliation making it's enemies look emasculated.

The Kalian Effect

When you look at someone who isn't looking at you, and you look away right as they look at you, and you have to do an awkward looking back to make eye contact so you don't look like a stalker.

Athaniel: Looking at AJ's body whilst he is not looking.
AJ turns to make eye contact while Athaniel is looking away, then turns again to look into the eyes of AJ.
AJ: You just did the Kalian Effect, but it's still creepy.

The phenomenon where attempts by outsiders (often older generations, authority figures, or brands) to adopt the language, style, or trends of youth culture are perceived by the in-group as forced, inauthentic, and cringeworthy.

You see that new Geico commercial that used the word Skibidi? That was some Fellow Kids effect shit right there.
